When we speak of Sapphires, the first thing that we have in mind is Blue Sapphire. These pretty blue stones rule the month of September. They also range from colourless to dark colours. Other famous shades of Sapphires are Yellow (Pokhraj)Red and Pink. Did you know, Sapphires also have colour changing variety too?

The May birthstone – Emerald is famous for its lush green colour. However, it’s colour varies from colourless to the deepest green shade that it’s known for.

ASTRO PURPOSE OF PRECIOUS STONE

Ruby is the stone for Sun. If your horoscope is ruled by the sun, there’s a high chance your astrologer will ask you to wear Ruby. Manik (Ruby) is allegedly said to bring wealth and wisdom, as well as enhance and improve the condition of the heart and improve the blood flow. Some also claim that wearing Manik directly affects the betters health conditions like lung disease, backbone problems, hypertension and diabetes.

Blue Sapphire is also claimed to bring in a lot of benefits to the table. To start with, the gemstone is said to allegedly bring you wealth, good luck, prosperity, clears doubt and help take decisions properly, improve focus and concentration… and a lot more.

Emerald is said to be the orator’s best friend. It has been claimed to improve one’s oratory skills. As per astrologers, Panna will also improve your creativity, physical health, wisdom and intellect, matrimonial harmony and more!

INCLUSIONS IN PRECIOUS STONES

Inclusions are small marks present in a gemstone. Having inclusions in a gemstone greatly affects the price of the same.

Inclusions-free Ruby stones are almost non-existential. That’s why it’s expected that the stone will have some inclusions. Unfortunately, inclusions in Ruby gemstone reduces the durability of the gemstone too. Even though inclusions in gemstone reduces the pricing, some inclusions just add to the beauty of the stone.

Blue sapphire gemstones are known to have lesser inclusions than Ruby. Just like for Ruby, the inclusions that enhance the appearance of Blue Sapphires give them a velvety appearance.

On the other hand, Emeralds usually come with inclusions. Inclusions free Emerald is very rare and hence expensive. The inclusions that aid in the beauty of the gemstone is considered of a higher grade and vice versa.
